The main deliverables are facilitating data management and analytics supporting the Threat Library and the Intelligence Mission Data Center and assists in the production of presentations or documents
communicating relevant data and analytics. By providing insight into scope and fidelity of IMD requirements, Illuminate Mission Solutions enables the Defense Intelligence Enterprise to improve production planning and ensures that service acquisition programs have access to intelligence gaps and associated risks to weapon systems. The Junior Level Knowledge Manager serves as a coordinator and facilitator for data and is responsible for overseeing the storage and distribution of knowledge within the Intelligence Mission Data Center and its customer base with daily impacts on worldwide operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The Knowledge Manager (KM) will work with the implementation of various tools and processes to better automate and standardize knowledge management within the organization. The KM will develop and design and implement knowledge management solutions using various developing tools primarily within a well-established SharePoint environment on three network domains.
Required Education and Experience
There is not an education requirement for this position. Demonstrates working knowledge of the concepts involved in the specific functions outlined in the Essential Duties and Responsibilities section.
Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in an area related to Knowledge Management from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have Bachelor's degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
An additional 4 years of related Knowledge Management experience, for a total of 7 years in Knowledge Management, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to Knowledge Management, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
